happy 28th birthday, dear hubby...

it's my dear hubby's birthday today....we've been celebrating his birthday together as husband and wife for the past 4 years....since it's a working day today, we had to postpone the celebration to a later day...

i bought something useful for him yesterday..went shopping for the present with Jihan...Jihan chose a birthday card with a picture of a frog in front...she excitedly tell everybody," tomorrow is papa's birthday...my birthday was yesterday..."

just now, we went to fetch dear hubby at his workplace...then Jihan said to his papa, "papa, happy birthday, i love you, papa.." i certainly didn't ask her to say that, because dear hubby thought i taught her to say so.....she said it on her own...

to my beloved husband, i love you more and more everyday...may Allah bless you always...and may we live happily ever after till the end of time...

it's celebrations time!!!

it's Jihan's 3rd birthday....

Jihan celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday...but i was so tired and too lazy to update it in my blog...nowadays, blogging is no more a priority to me but i do miss blogging so much...and i missed reading all my friends' blogs too....but i have another important priority now, to get through my Masters....

anyway, we brought Jihan to choose her own present at the Toys R Us Midvalley...we wandered around the store until she decided that se want "THAT" thing so much!!!! guess what she really, really wanted yesterday..? a shopping cart!!!!

then i asked her again, whether she wants anything else..? she told me, "No, No, enough!!"

then we went to Tony Roma's to have dinner....i really like the environment there because it is so kids friendly....and the food is superb and the portion is so satisfactoryly will make your stomach full!!!

we had chicken voodoo, asian salad and free pasta for Jihan...the waitress chatted with Jihan and asked how old is she...we told her that it is her birthday!!! so, later, they brought a special icecream with a chocolate brownies on top complete with a lit candle and they sang a Happy Birthday song to Jihan....Jihan was so stunned but excited...unfortunately, we didn't bring our camera to capture the moment...

we reached home and Jihan was so eager to play with her shopping cart...she kept pushing the cart and pretended going shopping with the cart...

to Jihan, happy 3rd Birthday, dear....we always love you no matter what, cheeky and mischivious girl...we hope you'll grow up and be a good caliph, a good and obedient daughter...you are always our precious gem...

back to student's life..

do i miss my student's days..? i spent 7 years to complete my medical degree (2 years of matrics and 5 years of medical degree)..it was a smooth journey though, i passed every single exams...
well, probably not...but now i am one again....but this time as a mature student who needs to work and to study at the same time....i am upgrading my life from a normal doctor to become a specialist in my field, insya Allah in 4 years time...

i need to make a lot of sacrifices...Jihan's and hubby's birthdays are just around the corner and i have not think of any plan yet to celebrate their birthdays!!

i've been doing lots of reading pertaining to my work and i spend abou 2 hours at night to myself doing my own works...

i miss cooking, baking, reading novel and go out to the shopping malls during the weekends (with the increasing price of the petrol, we tend to stay at home more now, and now i have to travel quite far to Hosp K, the expenditure for petrol increases twice as we have to use 2 cars to go to work...)

i miss my old days where i can just relax and do whatever i want...now, i have to read books, do some research reading, do mcq's abd stuffs...

i pray that i'll be able to finish my study in 4 years time...then i can enjoy my old life back....and spend more time with my family...

the madness begins....

after 2 weeks of relaxing and taking my own sweet time doing the things i love, it's back to work again...the different is, it's not just purely work this time, but now i'm back as a student...a postgraduate student in medicine, specializing in family medicine and the course takes 4 years to complete....! a master programme in medicine is different from other programmes....the duration is longer and at the same time we have to work like usual plus the extra courseworks, assignments, researches and of course we have to study to pass the exams....i'm in a tough place now...

i started to feel the burdens already...there are a lots of things to do apart from the normal things that i always do...i need to do a lot of sacrifices in term of family arrangements and my interests...meaning that, i have to cut down my blogging time, the time for cooking and baking experiments in the kitchen, the time for shopping or window shopping and doing unnecessary things that can use up my precious time to revise and do my coursework....

i think Jihan feels that i'm a bit different already....before this, i never seriously read thick medical books at nights, i used to watch TV with her and play with her....weekends are exciting moments for us, we used to go out and do a lot of activities outside, but starting this week, we need to rush to get everything done at once...

and i become a bit hot-tempered...due to the stress...Jihan always disturbed me when i tried to sit down and read, she would take my pen and started asking for book or papers for her to scribble...and she wouldn't sleep early so that i can start reading my materials!....

i'm juggling my life and i hope i'll be able to settle this madness to a better pace and sail through safely throughout these 4 years....

1,2,3,4,5..once i caught a fish alive!

we spent a good weekend at the Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa recently....this time, we brought atok, wan and bibik as well...we booked 2 rooms that are connecting to each other...

initially, i thought of bringing wan to the spa but due to time constraint and the spa was fully occupied, that plan was cancelled....so instead, we watched VCD that we bought recently in Kuantan (the picture quality was superb!) and had a splash in the pool and had an iranian dinner at a nearby restaurant (La Vida Restaurant & Cafe)...

the next morning after breakfast, we decided to hire 2 fishing rods and tried our luck at the lake near the spa...at first, we threw our bait far to the centre of the lake but no luck at all...then we saw some fishes swimming at the bank and we lowered our baits there...atok got the first catch!!...small size puyu fish....then another, and another, and another....i tried my luck next and caught a few puyu before handed the rod to dear hubby...each of us caught a few puyu and we were screaming excitedly when we caught them...

at the end of 1 hour, our pail was full with puyu fish!!!

it was a wonderful experience for each and everyone of us...Jihan was excited watching the fishes get caught....

altogether we managed to catch 52 puyu fish within 1 hour...not bad eh..!
