let's dance to the music!

Jihan continues her module in the ALIM Kids playgroup session last Saturday...she was so excited to see Teacher Farra (she was a singer once with her hit song Bagaikan Puteri)....

just look at her dancing along with Teacher Farra....Jihan simply loves dancing...she will dance to every tune she hears...and she sings along with it too...

it's good for mother and child to spend their time together doing fun activities like dancing together....it's a good workout for both of you...

Jihan loves following me when i do my salsa or cha cha...she can remember the steps and dance fairly well....she can also hum the rhythm well...both of us will really sweat out by the end of the session....

this is one of the way i spend quality time with my Jihan...

My Little Boy...

oh, don't be surprise by the title of today's entry...i don't have a little boy, not yet...my dear friend delivered a stillborn baby boy last week...she was almost full term but unfortunately his little boy succumbed before he could open his eyes to see his wonderful parents...

i found this wonderful poem from a website, created by parents who delivered a stillborn baby as well... i dedicate this poem to my dear friend....i pray that you will always be strong and may Allah bless you always....

My Little Boy

For the little boy I'll never know,
Born too soon before he could grow,
There's nothing in this world I wouldn't give,
If only my little boy could somehow live,
But you were too precious for this world,
From Earth to Heaven, your place was filled,
I felt so warm, content inside,
My smile for you was hard to hide,
But now you're gone I sit and cry,
Why did my little boy have to die,
One day I know we'll meet again,
My heart will then be freed from pain,
But until that day does arrive,
In my heart you'll stay alive

busy....

i was held up by few things and my days are full with scheduled activities....my hands are itch to cook and bake again but i'm lacking of time at the moment....

my time management is somewhat haywire these few weeks...and there are so many things in my mind that are supposed to get done but i kept procrastinating doing it....i'm losing my weekend again this week as i have a conference to attend to...but i still have time to bring Jihan to her playschool in the morning....

my exercise schedule has also been disturbed...currently i'm doing twice to 3 times a week but i know that my body needs more than that....i'm planning to do wall climbing with few of my friends and that was keep on hold as we have tight schedule right now...

i'm waiting for a good weekend getaway, away from the tight schedule and every hustle and bustle of my usual life... Jihan can't wait for it too...she wants to go swimming (or rather splashing in the pool)...and i'm waiting to bake and cook good stuffs for me and my family too....

a voting experience

i casted my first vote ever yesterday....it was a good experience...went to the polling centre with my parents early in the morning, and there were already a good crowd at the polling centre...at my polling stream, many of the voters are young and they were about the same age as me...i'm sure this was their first experience too...

the excitement plateud during the afternoon (as we were enjoying ourselves BBQ-ing at home) and it started back when the results started pouring in through the medias....

we were glued to the TV, watching almost all channels interchangebly to get the fast and immediate results...as early as 8pm, shockng news regarding the elections were announced and subsequently more shocking and unpredictable results were aired live from the TV....

the excitements were escalating and the adrenaline kept on pumping even though it was already late...i couldn't believe it that me, hubby and my dad stayed up until 3 am+ eagerly waited for the results...!!!

the comments given by the political analysts were also very good and that also kept our eyes open until most of the results were announced...
and mind you, it was very difficult for me to get up this morning (not until i got sms from my friend in Bangi asking who won at my area..)...and my sister from Australia called to get further news on the election....and the whole day today i got 'pening-pening lalat' due to lack of sleep the night before....

i have no comment about the results but Malaysia has said it all...we voted for our rights and we already chose the persons who will represent our voices....and now, we hope that those representatives will prove it to us that they will contribute for the development of our nation and our country, Malaysia....

for those who did not make it in this elections (especially for those who got a big blow this time). maybe it's time for us to ponder ourselves and make necessary changes and improvement in our lives to become a better person in the future....

Malaysia's 12th General Election

today is the day for Malaysians to come out and vote for their rights....though many knows that general election occurs once in every 5 years time, but they don't make themselves registered as voters...

this is my 1st tme voting...i'm not sure what to expect and what's the feeling of being able to vote...maybe i''ll get excited when i'm at the polling centre in a while...

for those who are already eligible to vote, but has not registered, please do so after this...you only have to bring your identity card and it only takes a few minutes...

so, for you who are voting out today, happy voting and vote wisely....

safety first!

i have seen this situation many times and they happen almost everywhere...and it really made me feel annoyed...

everytime when we were searching for parking spot at shopping complexes or anywhere, we have to be really cautious as some of the children whose their parents were locking the car doors or busy taking out or putting some stuffs in their car, would simply cross the pavement or were pushing each other and they did not notice of the upcoming cars...

some of these parents do not keep hold of their children especially the smaller ones...they just let them run free at the carparks....accidents happen and it can be prevented....parents should pay more attention to their children to prevent these accidents...

some parents tend to leave their children inside their cars while running their errands at the nearby venue....i think that is also not right...with many abduction cases which were still unsolved, please do not become one of the statistics....let's learn from other people's mistakes and keep our children's environment safe from any danger..

i really like the cartoon advertisement about child kidnapping which is currently aired on the TV...the characters cute and the advertisement is very helpful and informative....
