LCBSP Eid Mubarak Celebration & Mini M&M Concert

for the first time ever, Little Calips Bandar Seri Putra (LCBSP) invited the whole family to attend the Eid Mubarak Celebration...previous years, the event was held at the school compound and was celebrated among the kids and their teachers...this year, they made it a bigger event and invited the whole family to come over to enjoy the fun and to see our children in action...was held on the 25th September 2010 at Anuwar Mahmud Hall UKM Bangi, it was the children's first experience making a stage performance in front of a whole lot of audiences...

the children has been practicing their performances for quite some time, but when the time came that's the time when the lyrics were forgotten, wrong steps occurred, some just too astonished to move on stage, but most of all, they had real fun on stage...even my little boy made his own performance in front of the stage, following the songs and steps of the bigger kids on stage....

at the end of the concert, awards were given out to those children who managed to fast the most during Ramadhan...one of the recipient is my fantastic Jihan who manage to fast the whole month of Ramadhan...

and we had a feast of food afterward...where every family brought potluck, there were more than enough food for everybody present...

alhamdulillah, the event was a success one...we hope to see more of our children's work in the future...

Jihan's Ramadhan Journey - day 10 today

alhamdulillah...we are entering the 10th ramadhan today and i'm very proud of my girl who has been fasting fully for 10 days all these while!! congratulations, dear...at first, i thought it was going to be quite hard for her...after she went through her first few days with a bit of crankiness towards the end of the day, now she is more calm and more patient waiting for iftar...

as usual, her appetite has always been big since the first day of ramadhan...she has been requesting me to buy murtabak almost everyday...luckily, that's everybody's favourite too...at the end of the day, it was us who finished it for her...

and my little boy, Imtiaz is not bad too...he will have his iftar with us and likes nasi kerabu or any other couloured rice very much!...he wakes up for sahur and enjoys his meal very much...and during the day, he somehow eats a little less than usual..fasting as well, huh..?

alhamdulillah, we are enjoying ramadhan very much...and insya allah, we'll sail through the rest of ramadhan in barakah....

happy 4th birthday, Jihan Qaisara....

it's Jihan's 4th birthday..!! and she got to bring a 2-tier Dora & Diego cake to school...thanx to kak ayu for baking and decorating a great cake for Jihan....!!

Jihan brought some goody bags for her schoolmates and teachers as well...she got a set of stationary form her teachers...

she really enjoyed the day...

i bought ice cream for her to celebrate her birthdya at home...

her party at home will be on Saturday, celebrating it with kak sofea, abang ikmal and abang emir...and i'm baking a Disney's princesses cake for her...hope it'll turn out well...'

so, Jihan, mama and papa pray for you always...be a good big sister...you will always be our little girl in our hearts...

I'm so sad, i lost it on a lovely Sunday morning...

it sounded so scary when it approached my ears...

i thought i'd lost my ears too...

luckily it went away, far, far away...

but then it came again...

nibbling my precious tresses...

now i lost it forever...

will never come back tomorrow and the day after...

that's my soft, shiny, mohican-styled hair...

it's Jihan's 3rd birthday....

Jihan celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday...but i was so tired and too lazy to update it in my blog...nowadays, blogging is no more a priority to me but i do miss blogging so much...and i missed reading all my friends' blogs too....but i have another important priority now, to get through my Masters....

anyway, we brought Jihan to choose her own present at the Toys R Us Midvalley...we wandered around the store until she decided that se want "THAT" thing so much!!!! guess what she really, really wanted yesterday..? a shopping cart!!!!

then i asked her again, whether she wants anything else..? she told me, "No, No, enough!!"

then we went to Tony Roma's to have dinner....i really like the environment there because it is so kids friendly....and the food is superb and the portion is so satisfactoryly will make your stomach full!!!

we had chicken voodoo, asian salad and free pasta for Jihan...the waitress chatted with Jihan and asked how old is she...we told her that it is her birthday!!! so, later, they brought a special icecream with a chocolate brownies on top complete with a lit candle and they sang a Happy Birthday song to Jihan....Jihan was so stunned but excited...unfortunately, we didn't bring our camera to capture the moment...

we reached home and Jihan was so eager to play with her shopping cart...she kept pushing the cart and pretended going shopping with the cart...

to Jihan, happy 3rd Birthday, dear....we always love you no matter what, cheeky and mischivious girl...we hope you'll grow up and be a good caliph, a good and obedient daughter...you are always our precious gem...

haircut @ cheeky monkey

Jihan had her recent haircut @ cheeky monkey....but before that, i had to bribe her by bringing her to paly at the Kidz Sports & Gym and she played there for almost 1 1/2 hour...

she really enjoyed playing there...when it's time to cut her hair, she behaved very well and sat quitely and let her hairdresser did his work....

the place is very child friendly with lots of toys to make the children fully occupied when the hairdresser does his work....but it was a bit pricey though....i think it was worth it...Jihan likes her new look so much!

miss you, darling....

i'm back and i miss my mama's cooking...

i was left alone with hubby during the weekend...the others had went back to Batu Pahat (atok's hometown)....hubby had to study for his exam, so i stayed to give moral support to him and to cook for him...

the house was so quite with Jihan away...i was feeling quite bored with no one to play with and to quarrel with...i ended up doing some workout on my gym ball and reading and later i fell asleep....

i phoned Jihan later on, and how i missed to hear her daring voice...she told me that she was eating rice at that time....she can converse very well on the phone....

the next day, me and hubby had the same routine..i did some cooking and cleaning my wardrobe...i called Jihan again during breakfast and she was eating mee goreng at that time...she cried the night before in her sleep...probably she dreamt about us...they came back safely in the afternoon and how i was glad to see my little angel again...and back to our usual routine, jumping over here and there, teasing each other and quarel with each other...

my naughty, cheeky and adorable baby, though sometimes she really get on your nerves but some other times she is my greatest baby....i really missed her during this weekend, although it gave me and hubby some space, but it's not the same without our baby....

Blue.....

i was baking a chocolate cake today...as usual, my little helper would stay in the kitchen to "help" me out.... i was busy baking the cake, suddenly i heard a crash.... !

oooh ooooooo..... my little helper just dropped a small bottle of food colouring on the floor....!! the floor was covered with blue liquid and Jihan's feet were also blue....Jihan was shocked and scared and cried....

papa washed her feet but the colour won't come out completely...she pretended become limping as if her feet were injured....

P/S: the cake that i baked on that day...

Happy Birthday, Jihan

yeah, it was Jihan's birthday yesterday...mama was so tired to update it in the blog yesterday...alhamdulillah, the small family and friends gathering yesterday turned out very well...in conjunction with my parents going for umrah this Friday, we held a small prayer as well...

Jihan woke up with a smile and a good mood in the morning...she was so excited playing with her new tricycle ( a birthday gift from atok) and playing with the balloons while waiting for mama and papa to come back from collecting the birthday cake..she was all sweat after playing and running around....at around noon, we had quite a difficult time to get Jihan to bathe as she wanted to play with her 2nd cousins...she threw a tantrum, crying and even vomited! (oo..oooh..such a bad time to do a party because Jihan always had a nap at around noon and she did not have a nap yesterday due to excitement)...

anyway, we managed to calm her down and she managed to put her smile back on her chubby face...

we started off with a little prayer, followed by a cake cutting ceremony by my little princess...she was so excited singing "hepi bedey ta yu" and loved blowing the candles...i bought her a mickey and minnie cake and she just adored it so much...

Jihan was so happy being surrounded by her 2nd cousins and played around with them (especially after opening the presents...before that she only clung to her papa)...despite being sleepy, she forced herself to stay awake until the last guests left home at about 4 o'clock...then, she played with all the toys that she got as birthday presents...

we took her for a ride in the car, then she fall asleep...zzzzzz until 8 o'clock....everybody was tired but feeling satisfied and happy with a successful gathering....

preparing for the BIG DAY!

it's 2 more days to Jihan's birthday and we are so excited towards D-DAY! we are planning a small family and friends gathering on the day...so, is everything ready...??

well, here's a checklist:

• menu for the day - checked (mama and wan)


• guests invitiation - checked (mama and wan)


• Jihan's presents - checked (mama, papa, wan and atok)


• birthday cake - checked (mama)


• Jihan's birthday gown - checked (mama and papa)


• venue preparations - checked (awaiting cleaning and polishing by all of us)

basically, that's all i think...her 1st birthday last year, we had the similar things as well....so nothing extra special...it's time to meet friends and relatives and chit chat and eat and eat and have fun together....and the most important thing is to make everybody who comes happy and satisfied...

since Jihan is still small, this special event is to help her to socialize and make friends....i just hope that she'll be in her good mood on that day...
