i must congratulate KTM Berhad for their initiatives of introducing the Ladies' Coach for KTM Komuter services, which started the operation in April last year...to tell you the truth, i have not been using its services for quite some time now, but i'm glad that this effort benefits many ladies out there who use KTM Komuter as their main public transport, to ensure a comfortable and safe journey and reducing the risk of sexual harassment in a congested environment..A Mother's Discovery

now you see it, now you don't...arrgggghhh!!!

I'm so sad, i lost it on a lovely Sunday morning...
it sounded so scary when it approached my ears...
i thought i'd lost my ears too...
luckily it went away, far, far away...
but then it came again...
nibbling my precious tresses...
now i lost it forever...
will never come back tomorrow and the day after...
that's my soft, shiny, mohican-styled hair...

"i first celebrated Mother's Day 3 years ago. I was oncall the day before and returned home the next morning feeling very exhausted, not remembering that it was Mother’s Day. I was surprised to see a spread of scrumptious breakfast on the table. We had a lovely breakfast prepared by my husband and daughter. Later, i switched on the computer and i was surprised to find out that both of them had prepared a very colourful multimedia presentation It was full of memorable photographs about my journey as a mother. I was touched with their efforts to make my Mother's Day a very special one..."

S.A.H.M (stay at home mom)

- i want to spend the whole day with my kids
- i'm currently breastfeeding, it is easier to directly breastfeed Imtiaz
- i can always cook for the family (currently i only cook when they want a special menu from me or when i have the time)
- i can manage my own family to my likings
- i can teach my kids a little extra from what they learn at school
- i can become my kids' own driver
- i don't have to crush and squeeze my head to deal with difficult patients who are just non compliance to medications
- i can exercise 7 days a week (now i'm doing it at 3-5 times a week)
- i can indulge in doing everything i love (shopping + window shopping, reading novels/magazines/newspaper, watching TV/movie, baking/cooking)
- i can be my own family's doctor
- i can surf the internet 24/7 (minus the time that needed to attend my kids) finding informations at the tips of my fingers
- i can blog and read other blogs to exchange views and opinions
why i can't be S.A.H.M?
- i have to complete my Master
- i'm bonded 7 years after completing my Master
- i won't have my own pocket money and i can't find ways how to find alternative income to stabilize the family's finances (i'm not a good entrepeneur)
- i tend to munch a lot in between meals, that will make me to balloon up
what i wish to be...?
- i want to complete my Master
- then want to become a lactation specialist
- complete my 7 years contract with my employer
- then i want to promote breastfeeding to the nation and work as a lactation specialist at my own time
- i want to have a flexible working hour so that i can manage my family as well
- i want to coach my kids myself
sometimes, you can't have what you want...make do with what you can...but there's always room to improve your life to the next stage...

to touch a mother's heart
At 21, Olivia Martin has mastered the art of cynicism. Maybe that's inevitable because of her dysfunctional family - a desperately needy, alcoholic ex-model mother; a rich, ill-tempered father with an imperious new wife; and a spoiled half-sister. Olivia's modus operandi has been to ignore them all and just drift through life, tough and alone. However, just as she is in danger of falling in love - or at least in lust - for the first time, Olivia's familial responsibilities come crashing down about her. Her father and his second wife are killed in a car crash, and she is left to inherit both their considerable fortune and guardianship of her four-year old half-sister. Despite, Olivia's view that 'If I'd wanted to be saddled with a kid at this point in my life, I'd have grown up in Oklahoma,', she has no choice but to do the right thing and try and raise a child she's only met on a handful of times.
Best friends Kamryn Matika and Adele Brannon thought nothing could come between them - until Adele did the unthinkable and slept with Kamryn's fiance, Nate. Worse still, she got pregnant and had his child. When Kamryn discovered the truth about their betrayal she vowed never to see any of them again. Two years later, Kamryn receives a letter from Adele asking her to visit her in hospital. Adele is dying and begs Kamryn to adopt her daughter, Tegan. With a great job and a hectic social life, the last thing Kamryn needs is a five-year-old to disrupt things. Especially not one who reminds her of Nate. But with no one else to take care of Tegan and Adele fading fast, does she have any other choice? So begins a difficult journey that leads Kamryn towards forgiveness, love, responsibility and, ultimately, a better understanding of herself.

happy anniversary..
i read a novel P/S: I Love You by Cecilia Ahern.....it was so touching and my tears kept falling down my cheek every time i turned over the page...
i haven't finished reading it yet....
Some people wait their whole lives to find their soul mates. But not Holly and Gerry.Childhood sweethearts, they could finish each other's sentences and even when they fought, they laughed. No one could imagine Holly and Gerry without each other.Until the unthinkable happens. Gerry's death devastates Holly.
But as her 30th birthday looms, Gerry comes back to her. He's left her a bundle of notes, gently guiding Holly into her new life without him, each note signed "P.S. I Love You."
As the notes are gradually opened, and as the year unfolds, Holly is both cheered up and challenged. The man who knows her better than anyone sets out to teach her that life goes on. With some help from her friends, and her noisy and loving family, Holly finds herself laughing, crying, singing, dancing - and being braver than ever before.
Life is for living, she realises - but it always helps if there's an angel watching over you.
