ice cream for sorethroat...

recently Jihan was down with slight flu and cracking voice....she also had a low grade fever but recovered very fast, probably this is a wonder of breastmilk that she got when she was an infant....i realized that Jihan very seldom to become sick...

anyway, she probably had a slight sorethroat as she kept asking something soothing and cool... her appetite was good at that time despite her inflamed throat...

yesterday, i started to have a sorethroat and felt like eating a cornetto ice cream...so i bought some ice cream @ 7-11 and Jihan grabbed the chance to take a bite from mine.....and later that night she took a bite form her papa's...and her expression was, she really loves ice cream and really admiring the taste of it....

i usually advise my patients to take a bite of cooling yoghurt or drink to soothe their flaming throat...avoid hot drinks or soup as they tend to worsen sorethroat...

and today, Jihan and i are feeling better already!!!

yup...the wonder of breastfeeding. My kids rarely get sick too. and if they do, they recover fast. And I notice that they never have fever after immunization.
good advice...
